Back to the Old Routine

So you are sitting in your first class of the semester. You look through the window and see the nice warm weather, butterflies flying around, and people sitting under the sun enjoying a good conversation with friends; and you are only thinking one thing, "I want this class to end." But then you think through again and realized that you just had three full months of summer break and plenty of time to enjoy the sun, but yet again all you want is to be outside.... That's exactly how I felt in my very first class of the semester, but hey I don't blame myself because I am sure that there were others in the class thinking the same thing. Some would say that three months is plenty of time to enjoy a summer break. Well that is not exactly right when the beginning of the school year is still during summer. And now instead of being inside writing this blog I should be outside under a tree listening to music, and why not having some ice cream also. I mean, it doesn't hurt anybody.


Hey, but not everything about school is downhill. There is also my friends that I had not seen during summer that I finally got to see in my very first day of school. I saw my beautiful Dying Chicken who looks a little different physically, but her laugh is still the same which I love! Then there is Cookie Monster, which to tell the truth there is nothing different. Same Oshani that left school on May. Same smile, same name (of course! duh!), same hair, same eyes, same-same-same everything! Finally there is Giggly Puff, same everything also. She still has that obsession of glitter and pink stuff. Until yesterday I thought that she came close to being the twin of 'Legally Blonde' without the blonde hair. OH YEAH! Before I forget even thought this girl may seem sweet because she loves pink and glitter she also has her dark side like anybody else. To the point that she is already of thinking of continuing with her torture...Yuli, yah know what I'm talking about.


Other than that I am definitely looking forward to this year.

Armando, you're a Dragon now!

Today as I drove my brother to school so many memories came back to me. I remembered that six years ago like him I was heading to Sonoma Valley High School to start my first day of school as a freshmen. Now I can't believe that he is the one going thru this day. Time flies by! As I pulled into the parking lot and  he opened the door I looked around as if waiting to see any familiar faces, but none. Like always, I only saw a group of four girls paying very close attention as one of them talked. And oh boy am I sure that they were gossiping about summer already. Who doesn't?! Especially if they haven't seen each other during the whole summer. Well...I wished him luck and drove back home. I will confess that I felt weird driving back home so early without worrying about going to school. Well not for another couple of days. I just hope that he enjoys his four years as a Dragon as I did.

As I type I am wondering how he's day is going. Hopefully fine or even better! At least not like my first day of high school hahahaha because I got lost heading to my first class. My FIRST class, it was not a good way to start my morning. Ugh! But leaving that behind I cannot believe how far both my sister and brother have come. I am sure that my brother's four years in high school will fly by and when least expected he will be heading off to his first day of college.
